The bowls centre at Lakeside Country Club is one of the largest single span undercover bowls greens in the country and boasts the very best specifications and facilities. There are 8 rinks in total, and they can be hired by the day, or you can become a member of the bowls club on a yearly subscription.
The Greenguage carpet is laid on wooden flooring and laser levelled to an accuracy of 2mm over 1600sq m. Coaching is available for beginners on Saturday mornings. We also have one of the finest outdoor greens in Norfolk, for use in finer weather! Internal leagues are held on 3 mornings and 6 evenings per week. Inter club leagues on Saturday afternoons, and friendly or county matches are usually played on a Sunday. All members can join internal teams of their choice.
Bowls club membership has an annual subscription of £25, with rink fees of £2.10, non-members £2.50. Rinks can be reserved subject to availablity. As well as the use of the rinks, members can also enjoy various functions such as quiz nights, whist drives, race nights, cabaret evenings and discounted restaurant prices.
