The Kingfisher Syndicate

The more I fish at Kingfishers, the more I come to like, respect and, hopefully, understand the qualities of the syndicate members we have here. They fish the water with huge care and sensitivity and that's why we're keeping day ticket prices for holiday-makers at £25. This, hopefully, ensures that holiday-makers fishing on the lake take the water as seriously as we do.

There are a very few syndicate places left on the lake and anybody out there interested should contact me at info@kingfisherapartments.co.uk However, please be aware that we are looking for very serious and very special guys here. Care of the fish is absolutely paramount. If you don't love and cherish your carp, we're not interested.

Teamwork, too, is essential. It's easy to be selfish on a big carp water like Kingfisher and only think of yourself. But this is not the Kingfisher way. We encourage team spirit, friendship and the consideration of others.

Our syndicate members at present are anglers first and foremost of course but what is also evident is their love and their feeling for the water. To them, Kingfisher is like a second home, not just a provider of enormous fish. It is a place to be shared, cherished, loved and protected and new syndicate members ought to take this on board.

There is also an element of tolerance and of living together now at Kingfisher. Because of the importance of the holiday apartments, we are now allowing guests to WALK not RUN around the lakes. Dogs, too, are allowed providing they are strictly on leads. We will shortly be allowing a very FEW twitchers limited access around the water as well. And, of course, there's a bit of tench fishing in April and May. None of this adds up to anything like a real irritation and if there are problems then we'll sort them out. The place is large enough for us all to co-exist in peace.
